Alcuni giorni vi avevamo informati che il campione italiano di pugilato pesi welter, Nicholas Esposito, si stava preparando per l’incontro con McKenna per il titolo mondiale.
“The Good Boy “ è il nomignolo dato al pugile di Cremona che dovrà quindi attendere per sapere quando potrà avere l’opportunità di esibirsi per coronare il suo sogno.
Questo è il comunicato che ci è pervenuto che conferma la cancellazione dell’incontro:
Abbiamo ricevuto la conferma della cancellazione definitiva del match tra Nicholas Esposito e Tyrone McKenna. L’incontro era valido per il mondiale IBO dei pesi welter e si sarebbe dovuto tenere a Dublino sabato 16 settembre.
Allo stato attuale non abbiamo ricevuto comunicazioni specifiche in merito alle cause di questa cancellazione. Siamo rammaricati per Nicholas, che ha sostenuto un training camp intenso, ma confidiamo in una risoluzione con la promotion Conlan Boxing per una futura riprogrammazione di questo match.
